I am reading this book – History of the United States in Five Crashes by Scott Nations
It provides a detailed account of the stock market crash in 2010 (Flash Crash) 2008 (Mortgage meltdown) 1987 (Black Monday) 1929 (Crash) and 1907 (Panic)
Wonderfully researched, the author sets the context for each crash beautifully. The details are stunning and the human follies captured to set the stage.
Anyone that is involved in the market – I recommend reading it. It’s an easy read and can be read out of order.
The eerie final sentence – “The market will crash again.”
