SaaS consolidation
CRM’s acquisition of DATA is giving a boost to cloud stocks today. Continues to show Salesforce’s appetite for acquiring other companies. It would be interesting to find out how earlier acquisitions, such as Mulesoft are working out for them. To digest well so many companies year after year requires a disciplined integration process.
Looks like Wall Street doesn’t immediately like CRM after the deal. But Marc Benioff seems to be on solid ground here.
